Maryanna of the Wildflowers

We lived, you and I

In the Valley of Wildflowers

Sheltered by the Mountains

Sung to by the Sea

We laughed, you and I

As Spring brought the Robins

As we shared our deep secrets

Known only to the Wind

We danced, you and I

Among the Wildflowers of Summer

Spirits soaring with the Eagles

Dancing with the Wind

We loved, you and I

As the Aspens turned golden

The swallows soared Southward

Following the Sun

We wept, you and I

In the deep Snows of Winter

As your Spirit retreated

Into the Sheltering Trees

With Spring, come the Wildflowers

Sweet memories from the Mountains

Memories of your loving

Warm as Breezes from the Sea
