Partings

Like Spring flowers briefly blossoming

Specks of dust floating in a sunbeam

Leaves torn from a tree dancing in the wind

A cloud of birds circling in the sky

Preparing for the long flight southwards

Snowflakes swirling towards the earth

We move through life

Touching too briefly

Leaving each other

Sorrowing
