Lovelight

I thought I lived

Before you came

I loved the laughing Sun

The smiling Moon

The Wind in my hair

The Rain weeping that

The Wildflowers might bloom

I heard the Robin sing

In Springtime

And smelt the summer sweetness of the Sea

I saw the silver aspens

Turn to gold in the Fall

And rejoiced in the

Sunlight harboured in golden leaves

But now you’re here

And this little valley

Dreaming between the high mountains

Is wrapped in snow

How warm it is, my Love

Lying here in your arms

The wolves singing to the Moon
